On December 8, 1971, Pakistan attacked on India’s Bhuj Air Force Base,which cause heavy damage and destroyed the runway of the Indian Army. As a result of this attack/bombarding all the operations stopped.
At that time Vijay Karnik was in charge of Bhuj Airport, Ajay Devgan played the role of Vijay Karnik in this movie. During this war Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik was present with his team at Bhuj Airport, at that time that Runway was destroyed and heavy bombardment was being done from Pakistan side.
At this time, 50 Air Force and 60 Defense Security people were present with Vijay Karnik at the airbase with him. Vijay Karnik and his team re-ready that Runway by taking the help of the women living in that area.
With the help of womens of madhapur in gujarat, the runway was remodeled so that flights carrying Indian Army personnel could easily land there.
