Rocket Boys Web Series Story Review

“Rocket Boys” follows the lives of Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha and Dr. Vikram Sarabhai during a time when India was a slave to the British.

During the beginning of this series, Homi Bhabha proposes to make an atom bomb since at the same time, China attacked and our army had been defeated because of lack of resources. Thousands of our soldiers were killed at that time.

Sarabahai disagreed with Homi Bhabha on atombomb. Sarabhai protested the atom bomb by citing Hiroshima as an example, and then they parted ways.

Afterwards, the story flashes back to 1940 when India was in the hands of the British and Indians attempted to drive them out.

During those times, scientists like S.S.Raman, Vikram Sarabhai, and Homi Bhabha thought about a New India.
